The Story

A Full Kitchen and Living Room Remodel in Minnetonka

This Minnetonka home's kitchen and living room had grown dark, closed off, and out of step with how the family actually wanted to live, so the goal from day one was a full remodel that would open up the space and allow light to carry through it. Rather than a cosmetic refresh, the project became a whole-home renovation that touched every surface of the kitchen and adjoining living room, built around a simple standard: clean, bright, and functional for real everyday use.

A Minnetonka Kitchen Remodel Built Around Simply White Cabinetry

We rebuilt the kitchen with custom Shaker cabinetry painted in Benjamin Moore’s Simply White—a crisp, warm white that reflects natural light throughout the space and provides a timeless foundation for the surrounding materials. Softly veined quartz countertops extend throughout the kitchen, while matte black bar pulls and fixtures introduce contrast and visual definition. A custom range hood complements the bright, refined palette, adding a tailored architectural element to the space. Above, the vaulted ceilings and French doors opening to the outdoor living area enhance the sense of openness and natural light, creating the complete opposite of the closed-off kitchen this remodel replaced.

A Custom Butler's Pantry Coffee Bar in Minnetonka

Just off the main kitchen, we created a dedicated butler’s pantry and coffee bar designed to support the homeowners’ morning routine without adding clutter to the primary cooking space. Two floating shelves with integrated under-shelf lighting provide convenient access to everyday glassware and mugs, while the quartz countertop below accommodates a full espresso setup alongside a built-in microwave nook. It's a small footprint doing a lot of work, and it's become one of the most-used corners of the whole remodel.
